Concept — Architecture / Inquiry

Halden

A residential architecture and build studio whose projects start at six figures, and whose leads arrive through a contact form that asks for a name and a message.

The problem

"Hi, we're thinking about building" tells a partner nothing. Every lead costs a discovery call just to learn whether it's a kitchen or a house, and whether the budget is real.

  • Next.js
  • Multi-step brief
  • CRM handoff

What it does

  • A three-step brief in place of a contact box: project type, budget range, then timeline and site
  • Large tap targets and a two-handle budget slider, so the brief is as easy on a phone as at a desk
  • A finished project beside the form, so the visitor sees the standard while they describe their own
  • Every brief lands in the studio's CRM tagged by type and budget band, with a reply promised in two days

Brief

Three questions, not a blank box.

Type, budget and timeline are the three things a partner needs before a first call. Asking them up front means the first reply can talk about the project, not about the form.

Budget

A range, not a number.

Nobody wants to type a figure into a stranger's website. A two-handle range is easier to answer honestly, and it still sorts a $300k renovation from a $2M new build.

Night mode

Graphite and one cobalt.

A near-black ground with a single cool accent lets the architectural photography carry the page. Light type at large sizes, with every pairing checked for contrast.
